This is a short animated film I created all by myself in 2014. It was finished from storyboard to final render on a tight deadline of just 4 months, so it had to be more like an animated illustration. Made for the Region of Epirus (Greece), it is about a popular legend of the bridge in the Greek city of Arta. Bridges always symbolized a transition between two worlds separated by the forces of Nature. These forces would not allow man to bridge the river until some sacrifice was made: The Chief Builder was called by a bird to do the ultimate sacrifice, build his own loving wife into the foundations for the bridge to last.
